I am an interior designer, artist, maker, mother and wife.

After years of working in residentIal and hospitality design, I started to crave creativity on a level that I wasn't experiencing in my work...creativity on a more personal level. I furiously started creating and making at night and found a new passion in creating clean and modern accessories for the home. I fell hard for design all over again. Creating something that someone else loved just as much as I did gave me such a rush of excitement that I was hooked immediately. White Nest was created soon after.

Since 2010, I have been going full steam ahead and running White Nest full time. I believe so much in surrounding ourselves with items that are simple, textural and at the risk of sounding cheesy, happy. I believe our possessions in our home are an extension of who we are. So isn't it more meaningful to love the possessions we bring into our lives?

I live and design in the suburbs of Chicago with my graphic-designer husband, Nathan and our favorite little two-year-old man, Oliver.
